This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building relationships with regular clients, and can work well as part of a busy retail or barbershop environment.
Provide high-quality men’s haircuts, beard trims, styling, and grooming services
Consult with customers to understand their preferred style and offer professional advice
Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience
Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic workstation at all times
Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
Manage appointments efficiently and keep to scheduled times
Help promote grooming products and services where appropriate
Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits
Support the wider team and contribute to a positive working environment
Previous experience working as a barber is essential
Confident in men’s cutting, fades, beard trims, and modern grooming techniques
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional, reliable, and well-presented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passionate about men’s grooming and current style trends
Good time management and attention to detail
Experience with hot towel shaves
Existing client base
Experience working in a premium retail, grooming, or lifestyle environment
